Gender reassignment in the original 1986 TV series of the same name, Matlock (1986), starring Andy Griffith as the title role of criminal defense attorney Ben Matlock.
For legal reasons they had to give Dean Hargrove “based on the series Matlock”
credit.. To hire Matlock at a New York law firm, they would have had to verify the status of her law license through one of three official mechanisms, each carefully managed by the state.
Remake of Matlock (1986)
This would include verified identity, address, current license status, disciplinary actions, etc. This new series has a lot of potential with a long primary story arc.

The ensemble members work well with two younger lawyers trying to make their mark at a prestigious law firm. The head of the law firm is the father-in-law of one firm and the father of another member, this couple is currently divorcing and she has begun quietly dating someone else in the firm.
She’s also a great actress because she can make people open up with a combination of psychology and empathy, even co-workers
Bate' Her character tells us early on how she gets so much information to help cases, it’s just that most people don’t pay attention to older women, so all she has to do is put herself in the right place, then just sit and listen.
