A family trapped in a vacation rental flooded by a hurricane must continue to make their way ever closer to the massive house as the water becomes infested with sharks. Tucker makes it to the lifeboat and uses the radio to call the dispatcher. When he explains his circumstances and then gives up on communicating via radio, the dispatcher makes no effort to follow up with him about his circumstances or the fact that the boat crew went missing.
It is a streaming service with a lot of quality movies that deserve more attention
Since Swim is one of the first movies originally produced by Tubi, I wanted to like this movie. Unfortunately, this movie is not even up to the standards of a Syfy Channel movie. The only positive comments that can be made are that the movie is fast paced and that shark movies are always kind of funny.
– A very predictable number and order of deaths
This movie makes a lot of mistakes that even a B horror movie shouldn’t make. The list of problems with this movie includes, but is not limited to: – A 55-year-old actor pretending to be a 90-year-old. – The lead actress keeps her mouth open for almost the entire movie.
– Poor CGI and an unintimidating shark
– Painful dialogue (for example, at one point, an actor explains to the audience the purpose of a flare gun). – Characters that are unlikable or poorly developed. With the amount of shark movies made each year, you can certainly find a better shark movie than this one.
But hey, at least this movie is better than Shark Exorcist (2015)
